Irrational Dislike of Black Golf Gloves?

It's hard to match a black glove to the clothes you are wearing, that's why they generally look crap. Matched with a black or grey jumper and they are ok. Anything else, especially navy, looks wrong.

My profile picture I'm wearing black and white casual golf shoes with black trousers with a red, black and grey zig-zag jumper (zig zags on the front) and a green and pink tartan flat cap. You'd hate seeing me on the course! lol

I'd wear white, black or one of the crazy Asher golf gloves happily. Navy coloured gloves are the only colour I'd refuse.

I own a pair of black golf gloves - Rainjoys is what I call them, I wear them when it is wet and also if it is cold (usually on some outing that has been planned and paid for and we have non-refundable greens fees, becuause 1,000 miles from home a raincheck has no value to me)

I have yet to find a glove that will take strokes off my game, but if its black I'd wear the heck out of it.

This thread is great.....  My dad wears two black gloves and has also nicknamed himself Mikey"TwoGloves" and "The Blackheart" just because he knows it drives me nuts!  It's all in great fun though!  I do own a pair of winter black gloves but very rarely wear them.
