Firstly, apologies if this topic is in a wrong section of this forum... I am a 17 handicapper and have been playing for about 3 years now. I play approximately once a week and hit the range and practice short game about two/three times a week. My question is, if I played about 3 times a week and practiced at the range and short game for about 3-4 hours every other day, will I be able to reduce my handicap to say 9 or 10 in 2-3 months ? Has anyone here ever accomplished that or does anyone know someone who has? Thanks Cheers Ray

Ray,

It can be done.  You need to determine where the weak points in your game are and work on them.  Start from the hole back with putting, short game, irons and then driver.  Tracking your play is also a great way to ID issues.  A program like Scorecard can help there.
