Looking for any ideas or help to try and become a better driver of the ball. I'm very streaky with the driver. My typical ball flight is a draw or a nasty snap hook. I recently bought a adjustable driver in order to open the face and it seemed to work for the most part at local courses. I went up north this past weekend and realize that these course were dramatically tougher and I also went from playing 18 to 27 holes every other week to three straight days of 36 holes. Any help or drills would be greatly appreciated. I obviously think some lessons would be good but have had mixed results from different teachers and their ways of doing things in the past.

Some pro work on getting their AoA as close to zero as possible.  Within 2 degrees of zero either way.  That could help.

I look forward to seeing the ideas posted in this thread.

On a similar note; I have no idea how you guys hook it so much and have that issue. I slice the hell out of it like there's no tomorrow.

I used to be a chronic slicer with everything in the bag (obviously much more manageable with the shorter irons) until I took up SnT. Now it is very rare indeed that I slice (SnT makes it very unlikely that you will cut across the ball out-to-in) but the flip side is my misses are now almost always hooks or straight pushes. Unfortunately, with a hook that goes way left or a push that goes way right, I'm still susceptible to army golf but at least I'm usually in the fairway or light rough. My old slice could easily be 1-2 fairways over! FORE!!!!

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Yeah my slices are truly a sight; when im reckless in form. I saw the SnT thread but its more debating than actual description so i have no idea where to start
