Psychosomatic? Perspective differences? Dunno. Contacts today, much less toe contact. Maybe it's the heat + glasses. Anyone experience anything like this?

Sometimes in the past I've noticed that glasses or contacts can make me feel distances slightly differently. That might just be it.

I wear contacts only for golf and on the odd occasion I do play in glasses I can't say I have noticed any marked difference.

Yeah, if I play tennis with glasses, I whiff at the beginning. Definitely a perspective difference. I have a slight astigmatism. Maybe that's it.

I don't wear my prescription glasses (slight nearsightedness) or my sunglasses when I hit the ball. I would probably be fine with either, it's more of a mental thing at this point.

I suffer from the opposite.  I seldom wear my contacts.  As a result, it takes my brain longer to adjust to the different levels of depth perception so it throws me off when doing anything that requires eye to hand coordination.  If I have them in all day, it isn't so bad, but usually I will take them out for both golf and baseball.  I wore the contacts for golf two weeks ago, but put them in about 30 minutes before teeing off, so I did not have time to adjust properly.  I hit everything, and I mean everything, fat.  I never saw so many beaver pelts flying in the air before, ha ha.
