After years of playing this game I think I'm seeing the true advantages of a full turn (shoulders) on the back swing.  I used to turn my back swing only to a point and then the arms would take control of the back swing.  This was due, personally, because I felt like I was getting detached if I turned my shoulders further.  It worked for the most part and I hit good shots, for the most part, the distance was fine but I felt like A LOT of effort was being placed on my arms..and they did feel very tired at the end of the round/next day.

Recently, I started having this major pain in my left forearm muscle (it's gone now..phew), so I worked on making more of a shoulder turn.  To my surprise, I noticed that the driver had a little more kick at the top of the trajectory.  Most times, pre-full shoulder turn, the trajectory of the drive would go up and then come down.  NOW, I see that it goes up..and then a little extra something..before it starts coming down.

Does this sound like I'm on the right track of discovery?
