I read another story that claimed the guy that ran wasn't the father, he was the boyfriend and they were his girlfriends kids.  Not defending the guy just making sure we had all details right.

Thanks for that, it's important if we're gonna discuss these things to have the facts straight.

No need for the face palm. there are a ton of these stories surfacing and reporters are being selective in what level of detail they include to make their story interesting.  As a father, I can't imagine ever leaving my kids behind, or not protect an infant even if it wasn't my own, but then I've never been in a movie theater where a lunatic was using tear gas and firing semi-automatic military weapons into the crowd.

    • This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.

    • Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.
