Nah…

It's okay to have a swing thought. A "white sheet of paper" is going to be filled with something, and you're better off controlling what that thing is. Jordan Spieth had three in 2015 to 2017. He had a swing thought — a very clear one with a rehearsal swing — during his recent win at Hilton Head.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Wasn't till I got well into my 20's that I developed the discipline to avoid attempting the heroic shot after a bad shot.  Take your lumps and avoid making a scrambling par or bogie a double.........

40 years later and I am happy to break 80. LOL
