Oh, I don't know what "geometry at A4" mean... but I'll google it.

My swing is naturally steeper. Trackman says : Out to in 1*  and in to out 1* . I honestly don't know what the ideal degree is supposed to be.

Read up on the 'D-Plane'.  Or simply watch this really solid video:

Based on the Ball Flight Law's and understanding the D-Plane.... Then on Trackman you'll understand the numbers that they are giving you.

For instance...

Driver - if you want to hit it straight.  Path will be slightly positive.

And you should have a a slightly positive angle of attack to hit it further.

- If you want to hit a Draw - then the path should be further to the right (positive).

- If you want to hit a Fade - ten the path should be further to the left (negative or zero).

Irons - pretty much the same with regard to path as the driver which I highlighted above.

But on an iron - it is better to hit down and have a negative angle of attack.

A4 is the top of the back swing.  Use this for reference...

At A4 - learn how to get a square clubface.  Then monitor pressure point #3 and you should be able to keep the club on plane and hit some solid shots.

Thank you for the post, Beach.

I'll study it.

to be clear, A4 is the wrist or the entire thing? I was told that my backswing is pretty much perfect according to multiple Pros.

Hey Beach ... where can I get irons like that?  Are those the new Callaways?  I think they are called "Gigantic Gertrude's??"

A4 isn't referring to a specific body part, just a specific moment in time.

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
