Wiseguy, By comparing Nosevi to Monte you have lost all credibility. Over and out, Charles.

Looked up their website.  I could only find Harvest Ranch in California.  No biggie.  Was just one of those things I miss from England...not necessarily something that keeps me up at night.
Don't give up the quest. Note: I have discovered that scones reheat very well in the microwave - something that tea shops in Blightly are well aware of I'm sure.

How dare you, Sir! :-) For what it's worth, thanks for the comment above. I was a little harsh on what Wiseguy said mind. I meant to be harsh on the sentiment (or at least what appeared to be the sentiment) didn't mean in any way to be harsh on the person. I'd say that's where me and Monte are different. Well, one of the ways anyway.

I'm pretty new to golf and have dropped about 16 shots in a little over 6 months, just starting to click, and on a good day can rattle round my home track in 1 or 2 over par. I practice maybe 6 hours a day and don't think I'd stand a hope. That said, Nick Faldo was under 5 years from first swing to pro. It's all about tallent to be able to do it in that timescale.

Re your last para I agree. As well as some of my best friends being Americans a couple are German. I really do go with the forgive and forget. Again, sorry to have caused offence, Wiseguy, if you ever read this. Was noet my intention.

Nos,

What do you do with clotted cream, is it like a side dish or do you put it on something? I would love to see the UK and bring my kids out when they have a school break. I have a girl 18  and a boy 19 just starting college. Unfortunately you would kill me on the course, injury restricted my motion and I push everything off to the right. I'm now at about bogey golf on a good course. I need to make some adjustments, maybe the Furyk twirl.

You have nothing to explain to Wiseguy. He was the one being judgemental and insulting without foundation.
