advice needed

Hi, i am relatively new to the game of golf, i have only played for a couple weeks and i am shooting in the high 90's.

I am looking to add a new club to my bag and i need some advice on what club. I will generally look to use this club on my second shot on a long par 5 so that i can get it very close to the green. I already have a hybrid so it cant be that (:

For the answer could you please state:

1. Which club it is?

2. What degree of loft i should get?

3. The flexibility of the shaft.

4. Be very specific, e.g if it is a fairway wood say which number.

15 degree 3 wood, would be ideal I think.

Only if you can get a 3W airborne off the fairway.

You might also try a 4W (about 17*) which is easier for the average golfer to hit than a 3W.  Try both out to see which one works best.

Get on a launch monitor and try out different shaft flexes. A good clubfitter can help you on this. (Err... don't buy this one online. Go test out options in person).
