I recently took a series of lessons and on camera the swing looks ok but I've developed a case of the dreaded word shanks.  Never had them before and can't get rid of them.  What I notice is at the start of the downswing my left shoulder more up then around torqueing the crap out of my lower back and moving my hands away from the body.  How should the left shoulder work on the downswing?
