haha.  I never heard of it then looked it up.  It's a contrainer holding 2 driveway markers you can get at lowes for less than a dollar at lowes.  Save your money please.

It is not worth $100.00.  As a matter of fact I don't think Jim McLean has enough to do or is not making any money on his golf schools so he is pushing the toolbox.

To make one at homer, go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get the driveway markers for aiming sticks, some PVC tubing to put them in and some caps for the end of the pvc.  Drill a hole in the the enter of the pvc to push the aiming stick through.  You can get some small diameter round steel and drill holes for them as well.  Any how you get the point I am sure.  I made my own version for $5.00 just as a fun project for a Saturday afternoon.

PVC Length 52"

Interesting concept....I use 2 long tees tied to a 4 ft piece of twine that i keep in a baggie in my golf bag.

It helps me with alignment on the driving range and on the putting green.

Do you have any other ideas for other self-made golf aids?

Cheap Putting Setup

-upturned old cd = Elks Key, also holds the ball & can line up easily

-elevated line of string with shadow.

-putt through 2 jenga blocks with another marked at 62 , 56 & 52 mm depending how Im feeling.

-aim at phoney hole , smaller than a real hole & slightly upturned, perfectly centred in the shadow.   Beuty of this is that if not hit at good weight wont pass over the hole & also will bounce off to left or right magnifying mishits.

- 8 or 6 iron to line up (as no amateur needs these clubs in the bag).

(Cheap mans Pelz)

C Mac, soon to be 4 hcap.

    • I agree with @dennyjones, a suspension of some meaningful duration would be better than getting bounced from the Tour. They might consider experimenting each week. It might generate a bit of interest. I like the idea of a visible shot clock. If a player and their caddy can’t decide on a strategy and pull the trigger in XX seconds (30? 45? 60?), one stroke penalty. Give each player 2 resets a round. The clock starts when the last player to hit’s ball stops moving. Other pace ideas could be used every couple events until a consensus is reached to adopt or ditch an idea.
