Do they have a "stiff" feeling?  That's how they look like they would feel to me.  I guess I'll go into Golf Galaxy this weekend and try on a pair first.  The TW shoes may be expensive, but they are about the best golf shoes I've ever worn.  Last year I tried some casual-style golf shoes and I just slipped more than I'd liked so I need something with more stability.

So, I tried a couple pairs of these today and, umm...let's just say it only took about 30 seconds for me to want to take them back off.  They are very stiff feeling and look even worse (at least the all black ones do).

Nowhere NEAR as comfy as Lunar Controls

I tried these on based on your comment and, you are right.  Now I'm considering these over the white TW13s.  Although the ones I tried on were the Lunar Control shoes, but I believe there are some Lunar Control IIs out now that I'd like to try on.  The only problem I had with them is that the heel seemed to slip a bit when walking (meaning the top of the rear of the shoe would slide down my achilles slightly while walking).

I don't want to sound like some spazoid... But if you are going to drop TW13s type of coin on a pair of golf shoes... I highly recommend you consider the TRUE Linkswear Protos.  They are hands down the best golf shoe I've ever had.  Easily.  Awesome shoes.

My wife bought me some AdiZeros back from London, since I can't get size 14s here in South Africa. The white/grey/black looks quite good although the stuff over the toe box has a bit of a patent leather finish that feels kinda cheap. They are very light and seem to fit me well. I'll play in them on Tuesday and see how it goes.

Stretch.

But do they provide a lot of grip?

I actually got the TW13 black shoes last season basically for free.  But guess what?  I never wore them.  Not once.  Why?  I was insecure about my game and didn't want to look like a poser.  Well guess what?  I probably do anyway, so I stopped caring.

Last year I wore some lunar ascends which don't have the plastic/rubber spikes and instead look more like a casual shoe.  Whenever I wasn't standing on perfectly solid and dry ground, there was a possibility of me slipping a bit.  I wore the TW13s for my first and only round of this season and I felt so much better.  The thing is, I hate the color red, so I still don't like wearing those shoes.  But the lunar control shoes look awesome and feel like they'd provide the same level of grip: http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/?l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-1/pid-666983/pgid-728844

At this point I'm willing to spend the amount of money necessary for a comfortable and good-performing shoe.  It makes a difference when you play a lot of golf.
