What would you do?

I treated my dad to a round at a very nice "championship" public course. $79.00 a round. The course is beautiful, and was in excellent shape.

The only problem I had was that we had the 1st tee time @ 7AM. We over-ran the grounds crew @ the 4th green and waited untill they finished mowing. We then played greens 5-9 "wet", which needless to say has quite the effect on putts.

We were in a hurry to leave, so I didn't get a chance to say anything but I feel like I should e-mail the pro or something. I don't want a refund or anything, but I do want to voice my disappointment.

By 7:30 or so, the entire course should be ready for play. I would definitely express my concern. Perhaps they'll invite you out to play again, gratis. That's what I would do.

yeah, send them a letter. Say you appreciated the course and staff, but was a little disappointed in the greens, etc.

I agree with hurley thats bad after you paying the money you are entitled to a quiet,distraction free and godd quality round.

Do remember, most of the work is done by 7:30, like Eric said. So you can't expect everything to dry quickly.

But yes, an email should be sufficient.
