I'm starting to look at the casual, new style cleats to replace my 3 year old cheapo Footjoy's.

I have narrowed it down to 3 choices: Ecco BIOM Hybrid $190, Adidas Adicross II $90, or the FJ Contour Casuals $100.

It's just time to switch the type of shoe to see how I enjoy it.  It's really 50/50% whether I walk or ride.

Has anyone had any experience with these?  One thing I am concerned about is the life of the cleats.  I will not be using them as a all-around shoe, but will be wearing them to the course and whatnot instead of changing when I get there; like I did with my FJ's.  I really like the looks of the Ecco's but can't justify spending that extra $100 over the adidas when it can be better spent elsewhere; like on a new wedge

I use the Ecco Biom Hydromax with the spikes,  hands down the best shoe ever made.  just feel the leather and you will know they are built to last.  no pain in my feet after walking 18.  I have tried every brand out there and they are the best for me.  The second best were the puma's I wore last season.

I was going to get the Eccos to replace my Oakley Ripcords (Comfortable and light shoe, but they wore too quickly) based on a few local recommendations until I got a review on here from someone who had owned them (and loved them), but ended up leaving them in the car after buying a set of True Linkswear Shoes.  You may want to check them out as well.
