Why isn't Tiger in more events?

Why doesn't he play more? I guess the main reason would be he doesn't have to. He can set his schedule however he sees fit, and what obviously fits him is his current level. He probably feels more events would not be good for his game.

There was another pretty good player who only played 18-22 events a year. Jack Nicklaus.

I watch more golf when he's playing, that's for sure.

Guess he has some sort of recipe for success by playing certain events - can't complain with his results 75 PGA wins (or is he at 76?).

But it seems to me w/ his game right now, more events to get his game in gear, the better.

I've gone to several tournaments in person (Germany, Augusta, TPC JAX, Bayhill), and I like when TW is there - because it frees up a lot of the other golfers from having huge groups  - I like to follow the other guys and don't like fighting crowds.
