My swing speed is between 78-82 mph and my worst shot was side spin was 362R. The sales assoc. told me that ball would still be extremely playable. Is this a true statement? I was demo-ing the cobra amp cell 2013 currently I have a k15 ping hit it about 200-210 with cobra 210-227. Any comments would be appreciated just started playing 2 yrs ago try to go to range at least once a week and play twice a month but I love the game.

do you hit your current driver straight?

It would be one thing if your current driver was a relic that wasn't comparable to today's technology, but the Ping K15 is far from that and in my estimation still an excellent golf club.

Have you demo'd other drivers?  Do you have any additional specifications, launch angle, carry vs. roll, etc.

I don't know anything about you, height, age, gender, etc. So I can't speak to weather or not 200~210 is a good distance for you.  But as a frame of reference my father at 60 years old swings entirely with his upper body and hits the ball in the 190-200 range.  If he would take a few lessons and learn to use his core / legs to swing he would probably find WAY more yardage than he will ever find replacing his driver.

One thing I would suggest is that if you are considering spending $200 on a driver, maybe consider spending $200 and get a few lessons to work on getting more speed.  You will likely get more distance out of a few lessons than you will out of the same old swing with a newer driver.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water
