Looking to save a few bucks and still get a top quality club check out the big ebay sellers Dallas golf and others. I have found that anything rated very good or better is the closest thing you can get to a new club at a fraction of the price. I would caution about 3 Balls golf they used to be the best but I think they got a bean counter accountant who changed there grading system. Bought a rocketballz rated at very good and it looked like it was a heavily used astro turf range demo. The bottom had severe mat wear. I bet I have bought close to 100 clubs from them. I would have been happy to settle for 30 % rebate. Instead they wanted me to send the club back for there reinspection. I told them I'd rather keep the club and pass on to others how badly they have fallen.  After 100 club purchases without one complaint I was insulted. I'll buy the next 100 clubs elsewhere you can be sure of that. Good luck with your shopping.

    • Last night I got to see Keb Mo live again, this time in a fairly small hall (1600 seats.)  A great show, relaxed and homey feel, and probably the best sound mix I've ever heard. And for guitar-playing folks, there's a documentary of Danny Gatton showing on various PBS stations.  One of the least-famous but best players ever, here's the schedule, and a taste: Events - THE HUMBLER - Danny Gatton The PBS broadcasts have shown or are scheduled in the following states & territories: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, (Washington DC), Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,

    • It is a diminishing tournament which is a bummer. Most of the time it has to do with where they sit on the schedule but it not being one of the big ones makes it tough to get the big guys. But it is a chance for everyone else to make something happen, which is always fun to see who takes advantage.
    • Yea, that is probably true.
