Is it just me or do the Golf Channel announcers seem to hack on Bubba Watson and put him down? Am I the only one that notices this? It could be that I don't care for them too much. Lol.

They are never too thrilled with somebody that plays or swings differently than what they consider the proper way to play or swing.

Of course if most people tried to get in the postion Bubba gets in at the top they would need to schedule a surgery or two.

BTW...RTR Ha ha ha ha! (Just joking about the AU).

johnny miller ragged on Fowler he still does. Jealousy. I believe...I think he knows Fowler is making mucho denaro on endorsements and has a lot of fans...can't figure him out Anyone else notice that? That was on regular channel not the golf channel...I am willing to wager he has got some complaints about some of his comments made on many players

Miller has a problem with everyone.  Did you know he once played the most perfect round of golf ever?  He shot a 63 at Oakmont.

Miller isn't really the topic here.

I think the announcers lose site of the objective, telling us what is going on.  They believe they need to be critics and not announcers. It is one thing if the announcer is a multiple major winner.  But the GC guys were just average players, so it is tough to hear it from them.

He is from New Zealand and has an accent.  Who hasn't noticed that?

    • Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.
    • Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.
    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
    • I would say both are equally not the best for golf. Is it better than nothing, sure.  Golf is an athletic motion. Professional golfers are doing a comprehensive workout routine focusing on strength, power, flexibility, stability. They might include some yoga into the routine. I would put both of them in the recovery bin, not golf enhancement bin.  If you want to increase swing speed, core strength, longevity in golf and life, then lift heavy weights.
