Following the ball in pro/am events

Just curious, how many of you have problems following driver in pro events? Especially 300+ yard drives?

From DTL, if I don't lose the ball the first say 100 feet, I have a good chance of tracking it. But once it hits the sky with some clouds, chances I will lose it around 300 yards.

From the side view, I have no chance. I can spot the ball landing if I can predict the vicinity it lands.

Lower flight drives are easier as the ball is easier to distinguish from the trees.

For what it's worth, I have cr@p vision - 8.5 index. How do you better track the ball in tournaments?

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

      Day 297: putted for about 25 minutes, working on 30 foot putts. Then went and hit balls for about an hour, just focused on getting the ball to go where I want it. Not my best session, but figured it out better at the end.

      Day (2 May 24) - somehow I missed posting both Tues and Weds practice sessions - so the streak ends and a new one begins…. Focus today was on ball first contact using the Divot Board for reference.   Worked with 7i, 9i and GW hitting hard foam balls.  Started hap hazardly and then settled back into my pre-shot setup.  Much more consistent in the latter.
