It's right here....duh....

Peh, they have the Steelers finishing 7-9 and missing the playoffs. Clearly they don't know what they're doing!

Oh, I think they know

exactly what they were doing... Well, at least with that part. I don't see San Diego winning, though. They're a good team, and did well last year, but I just don't think it's Super Bowl material. At least, not yet.

Oh, I think they know

It will be interesting to see how they do with the new coach, but I'm a fan and was rooting for the Steelers to choose him from the first time I heard he was a candidate.

They're still pretty much the same team that won the Super Bowl... and the Bungles are still pretty much the same team that hasn't won a playoff game in... how long? No disrespect here, honestly - just talkin' some trash.

Well, like I said, they only have a chance if they can stay out of jail. Immediately off hand, who was arrested for (insert reason here)? Thurman, O'Neal, Chris Henry, to name a few...three of the best players, in fact. I think Lewis is doing a good job with what he's got, but what's he's really got are a bunch of thugs and drug dealers. And, Palmer is overrated to hell. He couldn't complete a pass to save his life at the end of last year.

Pittsburgh ("Shitsburgh Cheaters") is another story however. Never was a fan, and after that knee shot by Kimo...well, that was the end of it. And, I don't care what other people say, it was a cheap shot, end of story.

Talking trash is one thing, swearing and being just plain crass is another. Let's limit the curse words, okay? The worst I've called your team is the "Bungles." Call mine the "Squealers" if you want, but cursing crosses a line.

Wasn't a cheap shot. The head referee and Carson Palmer himself said so. Hold onto that thought if you want, but the guys that played in the game disagree.

Oh, no, I didn't invent that. A good buddy of mine did. It was at last year's Superbowl party when Pittsburgh was playing Seattle - all except two of us were Bengals fans (and thus rooting for Seattle) and the guy holding the party passed out a bunch of papers with the photoshopped logo. I forget what it also said (something about like "Nice going, cheap shot mother F'ers. Break a leg.") Or something like that. God, I wish I'd kept one of those...

It sure won't be my Packers. Defense should be good but with no WR's, TE or RB it could be a long year.

Oh, I think they know

Time will tell, but with a rookie quarterback it was a good run until the defense let it get by.

After looking through last season, the Cincinnati looks more like a Super Bowl team?? Offense points per game: Chargers=1st, Bangles=10th. Yards: Chargers=4th, Bangles=8th; Defense pts per game: Chargers=7th, Bangles=17th. Yards per game: Chargers=10th, Bangles=30th. Yes, these are stat's from last year, but not bad with a rookie learning a system and seeing an NFL defense for the first time. I see it getting better...well I'm hoping.
It will be interesting to see how they do with the new coach, but I'm a fan and was rooting for the Steelers to choose him from the first time I heard he was a candidate.

Well, Cam Cameran is a disciple of Norv Turnes offese. Now Norv Tuner is the head coach. I don't see the offense changing too much. Maybe more play options now that Philip Rivers has more knowledge and experience running the offense. But it's a new season and I can't wait!!

I was referring to Mike Tomlin, head coach of the 2008 Super Bowl Champions.

I'll say it again - if and only if they can all stay out of jail. Problem is, they didn't even come close to that last year.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
