IMO they still need 1 more reciever. vincent jackson is good but another good wide reciever will give more open chances for v.jackson, antonio gate and LT. They have a solid D maybe need another good safety or corner...

They have a lot of fire power and with a solid D, which is key in winning championships, the Boltz will be hard to beat.

the Bolts sure have the talent to win it all, no doubt, but take it from a Skins fan who knows all to much about a torn in the side....Norv Turner is their down fall, with any other HC I would be on the Chargers ban wagon, but this guy is a terrible HC, he's a great OC but just doesn't have the make-up to be a winning HC in the NFL imho....

well i'm not gonna throw him under the bus just yet. (btw i'm not a chargers fan) lets see how he will utilize his offensive weapons and the D. i say if they don't have atleast a 10-6 record .... its safe to say it was the coachs fault..

I was at the Falcons game last night, and saw some encouraging things but I'm not getting my hopes up. Harrington looked bad under pressure, but given enough time wasn't too bad. The defense had a lot to build upon, and aside from a couple plays they weren't being burned too badly by Palmer, Ocho Cinco and Co.

This thread's been around a while so there's a good change I have responded. Just in case I haven't, the Patriots are going to win. Any other questions?

colts, bears, ravens, chargers, saints, cowboys and eagles i think these will be the main contenders. (including the patriots) who will come out on top.... no one knows.... raiders, cardinals, 49ers could pull off a miracle

I do. The Steelers.

Nah, the Cardinals definitely won't. They've got a pair of really bad coaches.

For those who like the Ravens chances.

The Ravens are going to miss Jamal bigtime imho, I don't see Willis McGahee being a power back who can run up the middle without a FB leading the way as Billick is planning on doing.

And Air McNair is old, old as in can't do many of the things that we're used to seeing him do in seasons past.

And while their D' is awesome, Adlius Thomas will be hugely missed as well, Jarrett Johnson is no AD by anyone stretch of the imagination, and Samarie Rolle is like toast as a DB, he's everyones beating doll.

i think mcgahee is an excellent replacement for jamal lewis. he is a lot more agility and better recieving ability than lewis. they aren't gonna use mcgahee in the same style they used lewis. i think now the ravens will be more explosive on offense but mcnair is gonna need to step up and prove himself.

i really do think that wade phillips is a great fit for Dallas. Seems to be keeping TO happy and quiet. It seems like TO is understanding, he can't get the ball every play. But he will always have "his moment to shine", as he likes to say.
I like Dallas as a major NFC champ contender.
NE or SD as the AFC champ.

Worst record will go to either Atlanta or Clevland.
Biggest Surprise team will be either Minnesota (if taylor/peterson stay healthy), Green Bay(if driver/farve stay healthy) or Houston (if O-line steps up this season).

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
