I went out and picked up a blueing kit from dicks today and blued my oil can wedges. They look great and the process was relatively simple.

I was wondering if you could blue chrome irons? also, if you could apply the process to a stainless steel putter?

would it be worth messing with my cameron, I'm very hesitant about touching my $300 putter

Stainless steel is called "stainless" steel for a reason...

Wont stick to stainless, thats why you have to get a circa 62 putter. As far as the chrome, it would have to be stripped off. It wont stick to stainless, chrome, or aluminium, and for best finish on raw steel. I think titanium doesnt blue either.
