I've been Playing Golf for: 8 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 6

My typical ball flight is: 10 yard push fade

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: extreme push fade

My Swing is too Long and Across the Line. I would like to be short of parallel and laid off at the top. How can I achieve this and fix that problem?

As for what you want to achieve, keep the pressure points under your armpits a bit tighter.

Do you mean keep my upper arms closer to my chest? Not sure what you mean by "pressure points" and "tighter". Tighter as in closer to chest or tighter as in feel tension in them?

I mean keep them touching the chest more. See pressure points 4 and 5 here: http://thesandtrap.com/a/big-list-of-golf-terminology .
