Can any of the Missouri Golfers suggest a Pro to get some lessons from? i have looked on the PGA website and found a bunch. thought maybe some of you all could suggest some you have used in the past.

Where in Missouri are you located? Give me your town, and I might be able to suggest someone near you. I mainly know the greater St. L and Columbia areas. Also depends on how far you are willing to travel.

Also, you might ask an local high school or college golf coach for recommendations.

Sorry. This is an area of the state I don't know much about. I play at a Walters Golf Management course near St. Louis in Illinois. Sullivan, unfortunately, is several counties outside the Walters cluster.

Why not make contact with the pro at Sullivan Country Club? Talk to him in person, see if you think the two of you could mesh for lessons.

I did just actually do that yesterday. nice young guy so I'm going to look at doing a few lessons with him here very soon

      Day 39: did top golf for an hour with the family. It was fun but also not really like real golf at all. Also did some mirror work - working on the backswing stuff mostly.

      Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.

      Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.

      Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).
