It's a good ball. Plenty of spin. Durability as expected with that type of ball. I play the regular hex chrome and prefer it. A tad softer and I like the feel better.

More like $35. Callaway had a sale this summer and they were $30 Phill won the Open with them. One can expect a high launch but a lower spin ball than the Chrome. The Chroms + also dances better around the greens. I play the Chrome because I need spin, launch, and carry. I give up some dancing on the green, but it's still a urethane ball. I like 'em both. My son played the Chrome + and I thought he got it up too high. The ball was ballooning - probably because he put on muscle and his clubs no longer fit precisely. I tossed him a sleeve of Lethals, and it was less spinny in the air. I thought it gave him a better flight, and the Lethal is extremely soft around the greens. Nice ball for high speed guys.

Don't feel as soft as RX or Z-Stars but they spin the same to and around the green. Also feel a little firmer when putting. Part of my three-ball rotation: Chrome+, Bridgestone RX, and Srixon Z-Star (older version). All excellent.

Do you like the B330RX?  I'm currently playing DT SoLo optic yellow (I see yellow balls a lot better) and was thinking of trying out the B300RX in yellow.  But can't decide between the RXS an RX.

Rx comes in yellow and spins plenty for me. I like the yellow color of the z-star an chrome better than bridgestone's yellow. The z-star and rx feel very much alike to me and last year's z-star are cheaper. Chrome is great but firmer feeling.

Just picked up a dozen of the +'s, I didn't care as much for the regular Chromes only because I lost a few yards off the tee. I did love the ball on the greens though. I contemplated the older Z-Stars because they were on sale also but I don't want to fall in love with a ball that  I might not be able to replace. I picked up six of the Lethals when Galaxy had the Sldr challenge thing and absolutely love them but I can't justify that much for balls, my limit is $3 a ball or less.

    • That’s a 19th hole story that would be recounted for many, many moons to come for sure…..
    • I know. I was just kidding. BTW - I'd take the second place with the meltdown. It would at least make a good story.
    • That answers my question.  That feels more natural to me. I'll work on that. Thanks
    • Complex question. Good players begin pushing forward around P2. Visibly around P3. They're well on their way forward at P4.
    • Still plugging away with the teacher.  I do have a question after working on some drills last night. This is something I should know already but for some reason, I have gotten myself confused. It deals with weight transfer on the downswing. At what point, should that take place?  Should it be early (prior to reaching A4) ?  I ask because in one of my drills  I get to A4, I feel the weight transfer AS my arms drop, and then go.  Now this may be totally normal, but I "feel" like this gets me in a weird timing position and causes me to try and do too much at once.
