I got selected to be a marshal on the 7th hole next week . Haven't been to a tournament live in years .It will be fun to be inside the ropes and see the talent . I hope some of my favorite golfers don't come off as aholes in person !

I want details, iceman777, down to the level of who picks their nose while waiting for others to putt, who trash talks to whom, how many F-words are spoken per group, etc..   Details, details, details, .....

Tell me, how do you sign up to volunteer for something like that? I know that the 2014 BMW Championship is being held within an hour of my house and I was thinking that would be a fun way to watch it. If you could post here or shoot me a PM, that would be much appreciated.

Go onto the tour website and look for "How to Volunteer". While I have not done this myself I know that the "Travelers" in Ct. does this. It's on my Bucket List.Good Luck!

I ordered a Chicken and an Egg on the Internet, to find out which came first... I'll keep you posted!

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
