is my lob wedge a problem?

I measured my swing speed at dicks and it was low to mid 90s and I was slowing it down intentionally as I am a beginner working on mechanics. I have an acuity lob wedge woth a regular flex graphite shaft. Multiple people have told me I need stiff flex shafts and didnt know if it would be an issue with the way I use it. I typically only use it for chipping and would say I only use it when im within fourty yards and rarely if ever make a full swing with it. Do you see the regular flex graphite shaft causing A problem? I would say I play it fairly well.? Thanks!

If it works for you, I think you're fine. It sounds as if you are not using it for full shots or placing strain on a weak shaft.

People who use a wedge primarily for partial shots often try the DG Spinner flex shafts. These have a softer tip for extra spin, and a stiff butt section to promote lower launch.

I'd say you're getting the softer tip effect from the R.flex graphite.

If it works, go with it.
