Which Android golf app would you recommend? For me the Scorecard and GPS Range Finder are the most important features. It would be great if I could map my local golf course too

I have a galaxy s3 and love the Golflogix app. I'm a championship member and love the distance to any object

Most local courses are already mapped.  You can go to their website www.golflogix.com and check to see if your course is mapped.   If not, send them a request.  The tech support is very good.

You mean General Motors? No, I don't work for them :) I had a Golf Manager Live avatar, the game I recently got addicted to, but Moderator changed it to GM :| I guess he's not a huge fan of GML ;)

I have been struggling with which app to purchase as well. I've tried many apps over the past few weeks including golflogix. I was most impressed with Mobitee and Golf Pad. They are both one time purchases where as Golflogix is an annual fee. Mobitee seems to be a bit more polished as far as user interface and rangefinder for $25. Golf Pad on the other hand is really nice and keeps up with a ton of club stats for $15. Not sure which one I want without trying the full version of both for an entire game.

I use Skydroid and it does everything I need (and more)

Best of all it was free!

The only down side is that I think you can only keep score for one player... I haven't looked that hard though....

    • I'm 22 days and 6 hours away from playing the Cradle.  Therefore I'm going with the Par 3 course!

    • Interesting for sure. I have actually had my instructor try to get me to get the elbow in front as well. That actually spiraled me into the slump I am currently working out of. I would disagree with him saying that lowering the arm might be the simplest and easiest move in golf 😄. I am having SOO much trouble making that move instead of my hands immediately moving toward the ball from the top. It's like my mind has 0 patience at the top and tells me to GO GO GO.

    • I generally like par-3 courses and find it a darn shame that the last of them closed in my area during the pandemic. Part of it may have to do with the fact that I never have been very good with the longer clubs, so the short holes are a bit more my speed.  Being able to get in 18 holes in two hours was pretty convenient and, ironically, the lack of crowds made them peaceful places to be. Naturally, that's the same reason they no longer exist around here.  The second option sounds like a whole lot of no fun.
