Hi all from a very wet and windy Scotland. I am 39 and have been 'playing' golf for two full years now. I'm a 28 handicapper. I really do struggle wih the game and very rarely break 120 but I am totally hooked on the game. I have tried to give up several times but always go back after a day or two. I have been browsing the site for a while and it seems to have a lot of useful information.

Welcome to the forum!

There's a lot to learn here, and a lot of good exchange of information.

I know there are others from Scotland who frequent the forum.  I visited Scotland this summer, sightseeing and tracking down the Scottish side of my ancestry.  Had a great time. Beautiful country and warm people!

Suggestion: Take a look at your long game. If you can put you tee shots in the fairway - or the light rough - the game gets a lot easier.

And you don't have to hit your drive 280 yards. Just get it into the short grass.
