Hello everybody...i'm beginner in golf and i'm a self-learning golfer.

When working on driver and after see some video of pros, I have a question:

I think the driver make impact when is on the way up....that mean the club head not touch the ground. But when at address position why many golfers set the club just behind the ball and on the ground, after the lowest point of the swing  ???? if i set up like that,in my back swing, do i have to drag the club head on the ground back before let it off the ground ???

Sorry about my bad English.

What is correct position of driver head when address.

You might not like the answer, but there is no one position. Some hover, some ground their club lightly.

I will caution you against trying to hit up too much. The long drivers (the ones who are going for 400+ yard drives) hit up only 8° or so. 4-5° for a non-long driver is still quite a bit up. It's not very much. Low point isn't too far behind the golf ball.
