Wanna play "what was this ball used for?"

Other than being some sort of golf ball... Can you tell me what it is specifically. I do know what it is. Have fun!

Inverted dimples = more wind drag and less distance so I'd assume it's some type of practice ball.

EDIT: It's a Cayman golf ball originally designed for The Britannia golf course (Jack Nicklaus course) at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman in the Caribbean.

The ball was designed to travel only half the distance of a 'regular' ball with the Executive Course in mind (to give golfers the feel of playing a 'regulation' length course on an 'executive' length course.

So my first guess wasn't too shabby. :dance:

All the guesses were pretty good.  When I did a search, an image of the Cayman ball matches almost exactly the photo, right down to the brand and number.  Never heard of a "bramble" but that was a nice try.

I knew the internet savvy folk would find it but was hoping for a more personal answer... My CC in the mid 80's used these for men vs women tournaments. I found one while out perusing for golf balls as a kid. Somehow still have it.
