Need help with new wedge purchase

Returning to golf after 15ish year layoff due to wife kids etc. Used to shoot in 70s. Want to update wedges but I have a loft question first. Still have 1986 Ping eye 2 black dots. 3.5-4 degree difference between clubs until lower irons. Then 5.5 degree difference from 9 to PW so is it really a 10 iron? I have a 49d Cleveland but like thought of swinging same type of club for full shots. Any idea why the increased difference from 9 to wedge vs other irons on these clubs? Typical for most brands?Any thoughts on wedges welcome too. I'd sincerely appreciate any feedback!

IMO if it matches the set then yes it's a 10 Iron. But Your PW is 50.5* so no need for a gap wedge if that's what your worried about. They're great clubs by the way. The increase of loft is to fit even between the 9 and the 56* sand iron. My recomendation for additional wedges would be some brand new Ping eye 2 XG they're available in the sand and lob.
