When I picked the game back up about 5 years ago, I shot over 150 at the Nicklaus course here in town. I say over 150 because we didn't count every stroke/swing and miss/penalty/etc. I'm sure that it was scary to play with me that day, as noone knew where the ball was going to wind up.

Lol that's hilarious how you said " I'm sure that it was scary to play with me that day" that's a good one, :P i've played like that before..

Great thread.

Since I took the game back up (beginning of this summer) I shot +34. A few days ago I shot +21 on the same course, so its going the right way at least.

I played some in late Elementary school (I was probably around 10-12 years old) and while we never kept score, I can't imagine how horrible it was....

Mine was a 120 for a +48. It was my first time out 7 years ago. After that i shot a 110 and i think i've only been over 100 maybe 2-3 times since.

Hmmm....I am pretty sure it was well over dbl bogey golf.....say like triple....definetly over 110 or so...>But I did score a nice little 12 on a pr 5 the other day....First shot...OB....second fine....third...Water...drop...sand trap....Next out of the sand...OB....Then on the green and two putt....But I think now that I three putted the hole...But damn....who cares after that...LOL

Since I basically just picked up the game this year, I shot my worst ever 115 for 18 holes a couple months ago. However my scores have been around 100 since then.

The first time I ever played golf (I was probably 7 y/o), I carded a 171... sine the course was a par 70, I was +101.

Something along the lines of that, except mine was probably that bad after 9 holes, never mind 18.

      Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.

      Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.

      Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).

      Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
