Do many of you put extra layers of tape on your bottom hand to slow down a pull or hook? Been trying extra tape on the outside of my grip.....seems to make my left thumb tighter to the inside of my right hand on the backswing. Grip feels stronger. Trying this with a reg grip...don't know if this would work as well with a midsize grip.

Have read that Moe Norman suggested the right hand grip the club more in the palm of the hand, less the fingers.  Keeps the clubhead straighter through the ball. He said 'palm is calm, fingers flighty', something like that. That may be what the fatter right hand  grip achieves as well.

I have tried putting a extra wrap of tape under where my right index finger sits on the club.  It was to try and feel pressure against my right index finger during the downswing and help me to lay down the club and not get too steep.  It works ok, but not a cure all.
