How does the Titleist 910D3 stock Diamana White 72 shaft compare to the D+ White 72 in the newer 913D3?

I'm in the market for a new driver and was trying out the Titleist 913D3 and the different shaft options. I really like the trajectory, ball flight and spin I was getting with the Diamana D+ White 72 in X-Stiff.

Given that there doesn't seem to be much difference between the older 910D3 and the newer 913D3, I'm thinking about going with the 910 to save a few bucks. My only concern is the shaft in the 910.

I know the shafts in the 910 are "made for Titleist" where as the shafts in the 913 are the official versions.

How do the 2 shafts compare? Is it worth spending the extra money on the 913 or is the difference pretty small?

Any suggestions or first hand experience would be great.

Correct, the shafts in the 913 are not the "made for" shafts. If you like the way you were hitting the 913, go with that IMO.

I believe that is correct. I remember that the 910 'Ahina made for Titliest shaft was an option for 913, but it was a free custom option, or slight upcharge. While, the true 'Ahina was very expensive. The authentic D+ was the stock shaft for the 913.

I would say the D+ is a bit more boardy feeling than the 'Ahina, a little less feel to it.

I recall reading a review (GD possibly) a year or so ago that compared made-for shafts from major manufacturers to each other and to their relative aftermarket standards.  Of the shafts tested, the ahina was closest, but I think it was slightly softer in the butt section IIRC.
