i shot my first 89 today! i had 5 pars and 0 birdies :( i havent had a birdie in a while but i dont normally have 5 pars in one round either. it could have been better if i had time to warm up and practice putting a few before i started. but im really happy about it anyway, at least now i know i can break 90.

Great job!! It's alwys nice when hard work pays off. My goal last year was to break 80 and I did it twice; it's a nice feeling of accomplishment that you can bring to other parts of your life. Once again another example of how golf applies to life!

keep on working man... it all comes in due time. just remember, even the pro's (outside of Tiger and the likes) go through their slumps. true, they drive the ball a mile but its all relative.
