I am still playing quite a bit by myself and would like to have someone with some knowledge of the site and of what we stand for here to play with.  I usually play on the weekends as early as possible (7:00 at the latest).  If anyone would like to join me, please let me know.

It doesn't have to be just one person either.  My only hangup is that I do not like to pay more than like 45 bucks for golf.

I've never gotten up early enough to play at 7am. I get up early every day for work though. Trying to wind down earlier in the evening so that I can wake up early.

School just started again, so mid-Aug to mid-Sept is a speedbump for the golf game. I haven't played 18 in three weeks.

I just used a BOGO that I earned from GolfNow. Booked a 2:06 tee time at Belk Park for tomorrow Saturday, Sept 5. Nine Holes with cart for $12. Anyone interested?

Just called the course--it's an eighteen hole round--not nine as I posted above.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
