Steel or Graphite Shaft for a Hybrid or Wood

I never use a stell shaft in either till this weekend and liked. What advantages or disadvantages of steel over graphite. Mainly what is the difference. Thankls

Driver: Cobra HS9 X 9.0 YS Stiff
Hybrid: Cobra baffler DWS 16* NV Stiff
Hybrid: Cobra baffler DWS 20* NV Stiff
Irons: King Cobra FP 4-LW
Putter: Cobra Optica SL-01 Ball: Bridgestone B330

graphite = distance

A steel shaft has a more consistent flex while the graphite has more of a flex. I personally use graphite on all of my woods and hybrid and steel on my irons and wedges.
