Unfortunately I wasn't in her group and I never got the chance to sere her when she finished ver round. :( But I'm happy with the pic of Gerina, she is really cute IRL.

I agree on how they are wired but most of these ladies introduced theirselves to us (score keepers) some others didn't. And by friendly I meant it because on Instagram she looks like she is easy going, I thought she would be something like Paula Creamer friendly. She is not and I'm ok with that. On the playoff hole she was behind the scoreboard to watch Christina, I was there too with other friends and the head of volunteers told us to not ask for autographs, we didn't really want any autographs just a better place to watch the second shots.

I'm not the kind of guy that asks forma autographs, the balls signed is like a courtesy they gift us from walking with them but I didn't asked any of them fot an autographs,  Gerina for the pic :) and because she finished nice that day, she wasn't doing so good at the middle of the round, of she finished bad I wouldn't asked for the pic.

To resume hahaha all I meant is I pictured Michelle different, with Kerr I was expecting ver to be cold and she is.

You're welcome! Will post more today! :)

I can't edit my previous post, so i will modify it here. Sorry.

M.H. Lee has a great swing. For example she was very respectful, she introduce to ourselves but when she finished she didn't even paid attention to us. Se was quite mad. And I understand that. She didn't played good but most of it was because of the caddie. I know they have the yrdage book with all the info but in that round I really saw the importance of their caddies.

She used a local one. So problem one: lack of communication. She speaks no spanish and he doesn't speak enlgish. So their coimmunication was based on signs. Then after she hit the shot , he walked to into the trees and start walking to the green, like if he were caddying for a member on a weekend round. She hit good shots but missed some spots on the green and the ball rolled to the back or came up short.

I was still impressed that she shot a +2 practically all by herself. Yes, I know they are pros and that's what they are supposed to do hehehe but I think that in that round with a good caddy with good... emmm not course knowledge more like good communication, she could easily shot a -4 that day.

Okay, final round!

Paired originally with the group of three mexicans, Ale Llaneza, Margarita Ramos and Gaby López. I changed it with my friend for Morgan Pressel, Stacy Lewis and Chrisie Kerr. that would be the third time I was paired with Margarita. And since I follow her on Twitter and wished her good luck the previous days, I thought it might be weird if she saw me again as the score keeper. Hahaha... she might think that I was a stalker or something like that haha. But anyway here are the pics

Group ahead, Anna Nordqvist, Moe Martin and... i don't remember the other.

Stacy Lewis 2nd shot at the 2nd.

She hit the tall branches of that tree in front. With these group I saw some shots thatwhen I was a +2 handica people were saying to me "How's possible you missed a shot lke that?" well, I saw todays some shots like that. Her nightmare started in this hole. She hit the tree, we looked for the ball like 4 minutes, find it, she chipped out and then had a fairly easy chip, almost caught it fat and left it short, then she two putted for a 6. She lost her mind.

Quite unfortunate because she hits the ball incredibly solid.

Panoramic of the 15th

At the 12th Satcy 4-putted. Then at the 13th she barely missed the fairway she was in the first cut, then she smashed her 3-wood thru one of the publicity banners on the tee. So I decided to walk keepeing a fair distance of her but she was walking well behind the group. At the 13th green she said something to Christie, couldn't listen what it was but she was not happy at all.

Stacy signed her card and went directly to the locker room avoiding all kin of contact with the fans. Some kids approached her and she ignore them. I knew why but they don't so they automatically think that she is "not good with fans", when maybe she's not. She just had a really bad that. She even throwed his putter to his bag which was near of where we were and the putter almost hit us.

Morgan on the other hand is a love. She intriduced to me in Spanish! (My partner is from Canada, so no need to do it in Spanish). She was smiling with he marshalls and the kids that were following the group and at the end she gifted me a signed ball and a few words to say thanks. Very cool lady. She shot -3 for the day. Christie also gifted us a ball and just said thank you but I expected that from her.

The 18th waiting for the lst group.

Christina was great. It was good to see her win since she was really enjoying the experience. Really glad for her.

The experience was delightful. Definitely would love to repeat it again next year. This is the only chance we get to see top level players around here and to be with one group was good for me. When they introduce to you and you introduce yourself to them it's really what I liked the most. As an attendant you may not have the chance to do that.

There were some swing that I liked a lot. Stacy Lewis, Gerina Piller, M. H. Lee and Pornanong Phatlum. The caddie of Pornanong, I was paired with them on Friday, saw me on Saturday leaving the volunteers area and recognized me and start chatting with me. Haha it is cool, very cool guy.

Hope you enjoy the pics!

Isn't her caddie her brother?  It was last year.

Yeah I think Pornanong's caddie is her brother, he's kind of a celebrity I guess. He wears shorts with the same material as she does, at least on the tournament I saw on TV, and Judy Rankin commented what a decent guy he was. Neat moment for you!

Too bad about Stacy, she seems strung kinda tight which is sure ok but even if it was just a soft toss and not a helicopter, no place for you having to dodge a player's clubs flying around.

So if there was only one player to follow who you would most want their swing to seep into yours, who would you pick?  MH Lee's tempo on TV looks really smooth. And objectively Azahara's swing looks really nice too.

When I was younger I followed Sally Little once, maybe for 3 weeks after that it felt like I had her tempo in my swing and I played great until that band-aid fell off (like all the others) :-) She had a great swing, I thought.

Thanks for the pics and comments! Fun!

Thank God I had it recorded and could fast forward through those repetitive Mexico City commercials. I also had to turn the sound off after hearing about Christina Kim's depression every 2 minutes!

For the life of me, I can't watch Christina Kim playing golf (or playing anything).    I know LPGA is not a beauty contest but I draw the line at watching her play, not a very attractive sight.   She and Shenshen Feng in playoff?   That's a ugly duckling match made in heaven.   Call me politically incorrect.   I deserve it after this post.

I don't know about that.

Ufff... tough queston. Leaving the beauty factor (of the player not swing) apart, I would say that M. H. Lee or Pornanong swing are incredible. M. H. Lee swing goes beautifully to the back and then kinda drops to the inside - if that makes sense - to put the hands in front and with her size she hits it pretty far.

Thank God I had it recorded and could fast forward through those repetitive Mexico City commercials. I also had to turn the sound off after hearing about Christina Kim's depression every 2 minutes!

Oh yeah... I hate those commercials too.

Here's a video of M. H. Lee at the 17th, second shot. It ended pin high but just to the right of the green. Easy chip and put for birdie (she did).

    • First (12 holes) round in a year, maybe the third round in five years. After prioritizing family for a long time, I’m ready to play more golf. We moved back where I grew up and started playing golf. The course is close, but only six holes and pretty short, so the longest club I bring is a 4i. It is very undulated, with a lot of elevation changes and 4/6 greens are blind shots. The long game was relatively good (relative to my game and swing). Got things to work on, but the current state is manageable. One OB. Wedges and short game was atrocious. Chunking like I was making a garden. On the worst hole I chunked a 58° approach, then chunked three chips in a row… Time to search up some chipping topics and start practicing. I’ll take this over bad long game and good short game. The short game is easier to fix. Shot a net +17(!), gross +23, over 12 holes.
    • Day 118 - Spent some time working on the full swing. Need to film some swings for Evolvr tomorrow.
    • playing with cleveland hybrid irons have friends that use hybrids anyone using hybrid irons or hybrids would appreciate fwwdback
    • I dont know if I really have a favorite, but there are two that have stuck in my mind for a very long time. #15 at Erie Golf course during the Finals of the EDGA Matchplay. Was up early and then lost a few holes in row so the match was close again. My opponent had a short putt for birdie. I hit past hole high, but 35 feet right. I drained the putt and looked over at my opponent who was in disbelief.   #8 at Whispering Woods during another year of the EDGA Matchplay. Was playing a very cocky opponent who made sure to mention on the first tee how many times he won the club championship at this course. I hammered this 30 footer that clanked off of the pin and dropped. My opponent was disgusted and that made me weirdly happy. I went on to win 5&3 or something like that, so that entire day has stayed in my memory.
    • Day 20: Did 30 minutes after getting home from work, before kid's baseball practice. This session was piecing out the new hip move in transition, doing 2-3 rehearsals from the top, and then hitting a ball from between P5/P6. Did another 45 minutes after baseball practice and dinner. Did 30 more minutes of what I did earlier, and then about 15 minutes of full swings trying to incorporate athletically.
