I have seen these but never with this set of numbers "QT - x- 65x" it is a tourAD YSQ. Could be a quattro tech but it is not in big writing on the shaft like others. This shaft was pulled from a PGA Tour player and I got it from the guys working the vans.

Thanks, but I mean what is the "QT" on it? I have not seen that on any shaft like this on E-bay.

I have a YS Q shaft in a hybrid but it doesn't have the QT. Probably has something to do with it being a tour shaft or something

That is what I was thinking. So they do use different stuff than us! Cheaters! Just kidding- but once you get to a level where you are touring it just shows how finely tuned their stuff can be vs what is available to us.

I did a google search, and stumbled across this: QT stands for Quattro Tech, a feature in a YSQ shaft from circa 2008.

A TourSpecGolf.com blogger named slicktry came up with this info in 2008 equipment award balloting:

Best JDM Iron of 2008. TM TP Forged. Offically brought sexy back. Not too much offset and quite forgiving. Workable too!

Best JDM Wedge of 2008. Epon 208KGX The looks alone are killer. Add Endo forging  Versatile bounce as well.

Best JDM Shaft of 2008. GD Quattro Tech. Very good dispersion. Looks aren't too distracting either.

Possibly the QT is no longer a production model...

Well I got this in 2009 at Bellerive so that makes sense. I mean it has to mean Quattro Tech but I just haven't seen it anywhere I have looked with these markings. Maybe it is a hybrid of the two shafts that they were testing or what- who knows. Not sure if I will ever use it unless I can get my SS up to 112-115
