I continue to hit all my clubs on the heel which causes a fierce slice and not much distance. I am not standing too close to the ball and my swing path doesn't come over the top, what is the cause? I could be shaving a good 6-10 strokes off my game if I could get back to hitting my clubs in the sweet spot.

First, welcome to TheSandTrap

Hard to say what is actually happening. The only thing I know for sure is that your face angle is open a lot compared to your swing path. The heel shot does not help because that just adds in extra axis tilt towards for a slice curve, but not enough on its own to really product a slice.

If you are slicing then I would bet it is your swing path that is to outside to in. I would say the odds are in favor of a swing path fault over just having the clubface way open at impact with an inside to out swing path.

Still no one can really tell you what you need to do with out seeing your swing. I would create a My Swing thread here,

http://thesandtrap.com/f/4180/member-swings

if you do film your swing please read up on this,

http://thesandtrap.com/b/playing_tips/filming_your_swing, with major emphasis on how to align the camera to get the best angles to view your golf swing.

Basically there is no one shot fix for a golfer. It depends on what they are doing with the motions they have in their swing.

Probably more of your swing path than standing too close to it. Check this out.
