From mid teens to a single figure handicap...

I am 16 and I am off a 15 HDCP at the moment but have just finished my exams. I have ten weeks off and I will be trying to play as much golf as possible. I really want to get to single figures and am willing to work hard for it. Does anyone have any advice on how to do it, past experience, practice drills, where to dedicate time? Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I recommend the book Lowest Score Wins .  It has helped many of us. It will help you understand what you can do with your current game to score better.  It also identifies what the important parts of your game are to work on.

Second, post a video of you swing hitting balls in the Member Swings section.  You will get free advice on what to work on the improve your swing.
