Pivot questions?

I believe I've had a misunderstanding on what it means to have a centered pivot. As I was watching the European tour this morning I was looking at one thing in particular. They all for the most part have a straightening of the right leg and they all have a downward motion of the shoulders. But I think one essence i am missing is there shoulder is not on going down but it's gotta rotational aspect to it. Is the left shoulder moving over the right leg that is straightening?. I may be looking at this wrong, and if I am correct me. If that is the case then give a drill to help me feel this. Thanks

Lead shoulder goes down and back, lead knee does the same thing. With the longer the clubs, the shoulder will travel a little farther back, also start to more "up" again. If you were standing with your head in the middle of a hula hoop, the lead shoulder "traces" the hoop.

Points is, yes the lead shoulder rotates back, should travel to about the middle of the stance (sternum) or even a littler farther back for most swings. Good visual for a lot of players is to move the lead shoulder down and in towards their right hip or their right foot.
