Pure grips...slippery?

Kyle, not sure what size you use. I use standard. The Pure Pros I got at Newport in standard felt a tad bit smaller at first. I felt Drew's midsize installs later and was kicking myself for not upsizing. So dunno, might be a size thing. You might be a candidate for a size up just for pure. Grips can be weird that way. 

Funny, I didn't like them the first day (don't think they affected play at all) because I thought they felt too tacky :-). Now I love them, but will consider trying one of my hybrids in mid size first.

Just put a wrap of masking tape, or duct tape, or something underneath.

Yes, or that. Actually that's exactly what Mike suggested. He mentioned that he had more than a single wrap if memory serves me.

I've actually tried up to 5 wraps underneath the standard size. That's the beauty of Pure Grips, you can customize the feel because you can take them off and try again.
