So let me start this off by saying im a righty. Ive only played about 2 rounds the last couple weeks, and although ive been tge driving range a tad more over all i would say i havent swung much more then normal. The last week and a half i have had very bad pain in my left calf on the left side of it. Its really bad in the morning when i wake up, and even though i stretch It periodically throughout the day it hasnt gotten much better. This morning it was the worst its been. Ive tried eating bananas. And hydrating but nothing seems to help besides a hot bath. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this? Im basically trying to see if its golf related or perhaps i just strained or pulled a muscle and didnt notice. Thanks guys!

Agree, see a doctor since pain has been ongoing and/or increasing. That said, I am an Ortho nightmare, with a previous Achilles' tendon and hamstring tears from other sports , joint reconstructions, etc. so stretching and massaging works pretty well per DOCTOR instructions. Had a little calf pain last evening practicing felt at second hole so in between holes applied hard thumb pressure and hold as advised to outside of knee. Subsided and went away by end of round. Make sure it's not a serious injury by medical treatment. Minor subsides.

    • Day 19: worked with foam balls for a while. Going slow to make sure I’m rolling and twisting. It feels weird, which is good. Going to take more work, but I’m on the way I think.
    • Day 39 (16 Apr 26) - Back to easy swings as the lead foot was overly tender from yesterday - stuck to some easy pitches with wedges and a few 1/2 tempo swings with 6i.  Was good to slow down and work on setup and overall alignment…
    • I saved the ball and wrote the details -- "my first eagle," course, hole number, and date on it.  Maybe I should write the yardage and the club too.
    • Day 8, April 16.  Continued pelvis turn drills after work today;  I've already spent 20 minutes doing this, am taking a short break (and have fulfilled the challenge for the day) and then I'm back to it.
    • Played 9 holes tonight. Driver is hit or miss, but I haven’t practiced that at all. It was a struggle to get sequencing down for the arms and lower body. I definitely have to do my downswing wrist piece a lot or I just push the crap out of the ball. Pitching needs some work. Chipping was good, chipped in twice. Putting was fine.  Shank Counter: 2
