New irons

Hi all. I am a 22 handicap golfer and am only playing 2 years. I have a set of ping s59s and was looking for a more forgiving club . With my budget I was on the lookout for a used set of ping g20s but my club professional says I should buy a new set of lynx black cat tour irons and get them custonised at a similar price. Don't know much about lynx and cant decided what to do ????

That's odd that your pro would suggest a set of irons from the early/mid 90's. I don't even know if you can find a complete set.

I'd go with the G20's, they're popular and very forgiving.

These are the new lynx brought out last year. Very hard to get info on them.

Yeah I just googled "Lynx Black Cat tour irons" and the only thing that came up was the older ones. I assume you actually meant these?
