I purchased a set of Taylor Made RocketBladez irons and hybrids, I love them and bought them off the shelf through Golfer Groupon. I picked up a used Cobra Fly-Z at the local Golf Exchange and had it setup with a new grip. They mentioned because of my larger hands, that I might want the thicker grip. And so, I went with them. Now, I am kind of thinking I might want to change all my clubs to something that is somewhere in between. Any advice on how to chose grips? Keep in mind that I am still getting comfortable with my current strong grip position. I appreciate any advice. Regards, Dave

Most stores will have mock up grips on shafts to try before you buy. Unless they have a huge fitting cart though, you probably won't be able to try out different grip sizes on a full club, especially not with different amounts of tape build up. Regripping them one by one as a trial and error for your new grips might be your best bet. Grip size isn't a huge deal unless it's staggeringly wrong, but if you know you'd be more comfortable with something else, go for it.

A layer of tennis-grip light tape can build up a golf grip for testing. It will give you some idea of midsize.
