On saturday I made a 35 yard chip with my lofting wedge, by far the best shot I have ever made, not to mention the longest. Just thought I would share that with everyone.

What's a lofting wedge? Is it the 60 degree?

I've had an 80 yard pitch that flew all the way, hit the pin (on the fly) and spun off the front of the green and had about a 15 yard pitch to get up and down for par.. the joy

yeah mine is a 60 degree. i love the club, took me a while to be able to use it correctly but now that I can hit it correctly it is a great weapon to have when your close to the hole

Congratulations on the shot. Its the shots like that, that bring us back to the course over and over.

On a side note, its called a lob wedge. The L on the club stands for lob not lofting. Just a little golf terminology.
