Ive narrowed it down to the Mp-67's and the 695's what are the pros and cons of these two sets, or is there any other sets that I should try before I make my final decision?

i voted neither, but its many because i dont know why anyone would play clubs with extremely little to no forgiveness. and i hope your a 6 because you have perfect ball strking but can't putt because if not i'm afraid your handicapp might go up.

just my 2cents

Actually my ball striking is the best part of my game, and my short game is what needs the most work so I think im ready to move into a set of blades

I think I'm a bit biased on this subject.

I love my MP 67's. I've had Pings all my golfing life and never thought I was a good enough ball striker to play blades. Since I've had these Mizuno irons my handicap dropped by 3 strokes.

Have you hit the MP 67's??????

These aren't your fathers old blades from the 60's. The "cut muscle" in the club make it feel as good if not better than my old Ping I3 Blades. I think you're being unfair.

thats what I was thinking, and also the 695's have the same type of cut muscle blade as the 67's, the pro that i take lesson's from told me to get which ever ones I can geta better deal on because of how similar they are, is that true?

I have to disagree. MP-67 feels better than 695MB to me, besides they're sexy as hell. They simply define the muscle in muscle back blades.

You forgot the Cobra Carbon CB . Great set of clubs . Easy to hit draws and fades . Not too long but more on pinpoint accuracy in your shot . Not as expensive as the competiton . You will love the feel of every shot made .

I forgot to add .. Have them fitted with Project X shafts in 7.0 or tour stiff . With the savings you get you can afford to splurge on these better shafts .

The 67's are just such a nice feel, with about the same workability and forgiveness of the 695's. The grain flow forged just feels so great in my MP-60's

Hi there,

I wanted to open a new thread about the Cobra Carbon CB and the Titleist 755, but because I'm just a 'newbie' on this forum, I'm not allowed to do that. Which of those 2 do you guys recommend? I'm a 22 year old with a 12 handicap who's looking for clubs to get into the single digits. The cobra's cost 699$, the 755's 799$. I was really impressed to see the CB's at #1 in the GOLF hot list, but then again, they weren't even mentioned in the Golf Digest hot list :s ? Hope to get some feedback here :) thanks anyway.

    • Like who? The dude won on a tough set up with a cold putter. I mean, where do we go from here? They had to throw him in jail to keep him from winning one. No one has been on a run like this since 2007. It's like watching someone go to the office and clickity-clack away at the typewriter over and over each day writing history and there ain't a thing anyone can do about it.  Give it up y'all. He just too good.
    • He’s paid to look like a character from the movie ‘ Half Baked’ while playing some pretty dismal golf. He once stated he had some pretty terrible people around him and had to cut them out. So I guess he figured adding Greg Norman and some human rights violators was a solid move.😵‍💫
    • This snuck up on me. Maybe it's because I've got daddy issues and never remember Father's Day ever since he told my mom that he didn't have the time to see me more often....   Let's go anyone but Scheffler! Or Brian Harman! Or....forget it, the list is too long. (Grrr it won't let me capitalize "the" in the title)
    • Day 170: 6/10/24 Indoor chipping. Taking it easy on my right elbow.
    • Day 88. Two 10 minute sessions working on full swing technique into the net. Didn’t feel great. Not sure if I’m just off today or if it was because I’m learning to move slightly differently, which would be a good thing.
